Taylor Lautner has nothing but love and good vibes for his ex-girlfriend, Taylor Swift. The ‘Twilight’ actor made headlines after publicly reacting to his ex-girlfriend’s engagement to Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
As social media users noticed, hours after the news broke, Lautner reposted an NFL post showing images of the engagement along with a video capture of the couple after the Chiefs’ victory in the AFC Championship.
“This is crazy. I can’t believe this is actually happening. I’m in shock,” Swift says in the video referenced in the image, where she celebrates her now-fiancé’s victory.
The relationship between Swift and Lautner
Taylor Lautner was one of Taylor Swift’s first public romances. After ending her relationship with Joe Jonas in 2008 and enjoying her single life for a few months, the famous Miss Americana gave love another chance with the movie star, positioning themselves as one of the most powerful couples of that time.
The relationship between Taylor Swift and Taylor Lautner lasted barely three months, from October to December 2009. However, this was enough time for the superstar to dedicate one of his most beloved songs to her: ‘Back to December’, from his album ‘Speak Now’.

Despite the breakup, there is no bad blood between the artists. In fact, some time after breaking up, the former couple developed a good friendship. Currently, Lautner is married to Taylor Swift, who is a big fan of Swift, so they have both spent time with the artist in recent years, especially during her most recent tour, The Eras Tour.
Swift has also spoken about their friendship, noting that Lautner and his wife have become some of her closest friends.
