Fans have spun countless theories about Sadie Sink’s mysterious role in Spider-Man: Brand New Day since she was spotted on set last Monday. But one thing now seems certain – the presence of Mark Ruffalo during filming for the fourth Spider-Man installment can only mean one thing: Hulk is back. After months of speculation over Bruce Banner’s potential appearance in Peter Parker’s next adventure, the latest leak appears to confirm every rumor.
Is Mark Ruffalo filming Brand New Day?
Mark Ruffalo, who plays the green giant, is currently shooting Brand New Day. “I don’t know, I’m still waiting for the call. I haven’t read the script yet. If it happens, it’ll be amazing,” the actor told Entertainment Tonight back in September when asked about the possibility. Much like Andrew Garfield’s coy denials before the 2021 Spider-Man reunion, Ruffalo has managed to keep MCU fans in suspense as they eagerly await even a hint of the film’s synopsis.
Several questions remain about the roles of new cast members such as Liza Colón-Zayas and Tramell Tillman, whose characters are still under wraps. Meanwhile, familiar faces Zendaya and Jon Bernthal are set to reunite with Tom Holland, though neither has been seen on set yet. Spider-Man: Brand New Day is scheduled for theatrical release on July 31, 2026.
