Authorities capture fifth of 10 inmates who escaped New Orleans jail last week

The fifth of 10 inmates who escaped a New Orleans jail last week after ripping a toilet from a jail cell wall has been captured, authorities reported late Tuesday night.

The inmate, Corey Boyd, 19, was captured and taken into custody in New Orleans, according to the Louisiana State Police. 

He is accused of killing Brandon Fees during a car burglary in 2024, according to Fox News.
