Former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly got into a heated exchange with NewsNation’s Chris Cuomo over the media’s coverage of President Joe Biden’s mental health, in which he insisted that the president’s cognitive decline had been obvious.
“He didn’t make the policies! He didn’t make ’em! That’s what– you’re making your mistake! He was a zombie from day one!” O’Reilly told Cuomo.
Cuomo, for his part, attempted to downplay the severity of the issue, though O’Reilly pushed back.
The exchange comes in the wake of CNN’s Jake Tapper and Axios’s Alex Thompson releasing a book on Biden’s mental decline and after the release of the audio tape of Biden’s interview with special counsel Robert Hur.
The clip revealed Biden struggled to recall when his son died and he appeared confused. This week, news broke that Biden had been diagnosed with prostate cancer.
