The New York Knicks can’t afford to be missing anyone.
But Karl-Anthony Towns’ status for Game 5 vs. the Indiana Pacers is in a bit of doubt.
The star center is on the official injury report with “questionable” status due to a left knee contusion.
KAT appeared to injure the left knee in the fourth quarter Tuesday night when he collided with Aaron Nesmith.

Towns finished the game, but the Knicks lost to fall behind 3-1 in the series.
Afterward, he said, “I’m only thinking about the loss, I’m not thinking about (an injury) right now.”
The Knicks are in a tricky spot if Towns is unable to play. They can give Mitchell Robinson big minutes at center, and he has been effective this series, but that’s a huge blow to New York’s floor spacing.
Towns has been streaky in this series, but his 20 points in the fourth quarter of Game 3 proved how crucial he can be.
If the Knicks are to mount a massive comeback, they’d likely need at least one more major KAT moment. He’s got to be healthy to do that.
