A New York City jury on Wednesday convicted former Hollywood movie producer Harvey Weinstein of a top charge in his retrial of sex crimes.

The jury of seven women and five men convicted Weinstein of forcibly subjecting Miriam Haley, a producer and production assistant, to a criminal sex act in 2006, according to the Associated Press.

However, the jurors acquitted Weinstein of another criminal sex act charge and will continue deliberating Thursday on a charge that he raped another woman.

Weinstein was initially convicted five years ago, but his conviction was overturned last year, and the case was sent back for retrial.

Weinstein, 73, has denied sexually assaulting or raping anyone.
