Latest Israeli airstrikes kill at least 38 Palestinians in Gaza as Netanyahu prepares to visit D.C.

New Israeli airstrikes hit more than 100 targets in Gaza, according to the military on Sunday.

At least 38 Palestinians in Gaza died as a result of the latest strikes, the Associated Press reported, citing hospital officials.

Israel is reportedly planning to send a delegation to Qatar to negotiate a potential ceasefire and hostage deal in Gaza, according to a report on Saturday. 

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is scheduled to visit the White House next week and meet with President Trump to discuss a possible ceasefire.
