Rioters clashed with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents who were carrying out an enforcement operation on Montgomery Street in San Francisco’s Financial District.

Among the rioters was Angelica Guerrero, 35, a local resident who was spotted slashing the tire of an ICE van and threatening agents. Authorities discovered a knife in her possession.

Guerrero was arrested and charged with assaulting a federal officer and damaging federal government property.

She was held on a $10,000 bond in the Santa Rita Jail but released the next day.

Guerrero is due back in court on September 8.

Guerrero later said she was not allowed access to family members or legal counsel while in jail.
