British Foreign Secretary David Lammy invited U.S. Vice President JD Vance and his family for private fishing outing at his estate, which led to a written warning from the UK Environment Agency.

Lammy acknowledged the “administrative oversight” and eventually bought the appropriate licenses, according to The Guardian.

The violation was the first for Lammy so the fine of up to $4,000 was not enforced, according to reports.
