Amber alert issued for child reportedly abducted in Lake George

An amber alert was issued on Sunday for a 9-year-old child reportedly abducted in Lake George.

Police said Melina Frattolin was abducted around 9:40 p.m. on July 19, according to local reports.

News outlets reported that Frattolin was last spotted in a white van heading southbound on the Northway near exit 22. 

She is described as an Indian girl with brown hair and brown eyes. 

Frattolin is 5 feet tall and about 100 pounds and was “last seen wearing shorts, a black and white striped shirt” and white Adidas shoes, a local news report said.
