Rising United States tennis star Coco Gauff was eliminated during her first round at Wimbledon on Tuesday, after losing to Ukrainian Dayana Yastremska in a stunning upset.

Gauff, who was fresh off her victory at the French Open last month, is currently ranked number two in the world, by the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA). Yastremska is ranked number 42, according to USA Today.

The American athlete lost to the 25-year-old in straight sets, 7-6, 6-1. Yastremska will now face Russian athlete Anastasia Zakharova on Thursday.

“Playing against Coco it is something special. I played with her already three times, of course now four. It’s 3-1 for her,” Yastremska said after the match. “[She is] a great person and we’re in very good relationship.”

Three other WTA top 10 stars were also eliminated in the first round of Wimbledon, including fellow American Jessica Pegula, who is ranked number three. Fifth-ranked tennis star Qinwen Zheng and No. 9 seed Paula Badosa were also eliminated.
