The FBI on Thursday confirmed that they had recovered a rifle they believed to have been used in the assassination of Charlie Kirk.

“That rifle was recovered in a wooded area where the shooter had fled,” FBI special agent in charge Robert Bohls said in a press conference.

Authorities also confirmed that they had been able to “track the movements of the shooter,” whom they believe to be of roughly college age.

They further announced they had obtained footage of the suspect, but would not release it at that time.
