Age does not seem to be an impediment for some movie stars, such as Clint Eastwood, who at 95 years old still does not want to leave the great stage of cinema, where he is already a legend in Hollywood thanks to a long and hugely successful career.
He began his career in 1955 with the film Revenge of the Creature, and his last filming took place a year ago in Cry Macho (2021), an adaptation of the novel of the same name with which he returned to the big screen in 2019. However, the question everyone is asking is how he remains active at his advanced age. The answer, surprisingly, lies in the early death of his father, at which point the actor realized the importance of keeping his body healthy.
For several years now, Eastwood has been trying to lead a healthy life, which includes a very regular exercise routine that allows him to strengthen his muscles. This habit is accompanied by others regarding his diet and what he eats daily.
Key to Clint Eastwood’s long life
The actor follows three eating habits, as published in Vanity Fair, and his diet is very strict, low in fat and high in protein. In fact, in 1991, his doctor confirmed that he had a body fat index of less than 10%. He only eats vegetables, salmon, chicken and green leafy vegetables, thus complying with the 90/10 rule (90% healthy foods and 10% others that he would avoid).
Added to this is the fact that added sugar is not present in any of the foods, a very healthy habit and of vital importance for staying healthy after turning 90, just like not drinking alcohol excessively.

Taking care of the body and mind
Nor does transcendental meditation, a physical activity he has performed twice a day since 1970. His partner in crime was director David Lynch, another great advocate of the benefits of silently repeating a motto for twenty minutes. He also does low-impact workouts, such as walking, swimming, and golf.
Last but not least, Clint doesn’t eat for pleasure, as his son, Scott Eastwood, who has also followed in his footsteps, confessed: “If I could take a pill that would give me all the right nutrients to give up food, I would.”
Keys that have kept Clint Eastwood at the top of the film mecca, from which, for the moment, he doesn’t seem to want to leave after so many years of achieving success, such as ‘The Dollar Trilogy’, among many others.
