
Fired FBI Director James Comey was indicted Thursday by a grand jury in the Eastern District of Virginia over allegations from the Justice Department that he made false statements to Congress when he denied leaking to the media.
He reportedly was also indicted for obstruction of justice, according to CNN.Â
“No one is above the law,” Attorney General Pam Bondi said on social media. “Today’s indictment reflects this Department of Justice’s commitment to holding those who abuse positions of power accountable for misleading the American people. We will follow the facts in this case.”
