The Miami Dolphins appear to be heading toward some form of a rebuild sooner rather than later. A major reason is the number of large contracts currently on their roster. One player already involved in trade discussions is Jalen Ramseyābut even his contract is scaring teams off.
āBut a lot of these teams are spooked by the money because of the $24 million guaranteed. The Rams are sort of waiting it out. It’s really interesting. I do think it’ll get done, I just don’t know what it’s going to look like financially. But I know he’s supposed to get traded in somewhat short order, so I think in the next week or two I could see it coming together,ā ESPNās Jeremy Fowler said.
The Dolphins could look to clean house during the season, and if they go that route, Tyreek Hill may be the next big name to go. Despite the uncertainty, Hill has high expectations for himself heading into the season.
āEvery day Iām trying to prove myself as one of those guys this team can depend on in crucial moments. . . . It was tough. Emotions were high then. At the end of the day, Iām just looking to move forward from that. Hoping that I can prove myself and prove to my teammates that Iām still one of those ones,ā Hill said.
Bleacher Reportās Alex Kay floated a bold trade ideaāsending Hill to the Arizona Cardinals, where he would team up with rookie star Marvin Harrison Jr.
āWhile the Cardinals have a foundational pass-catcher in Marvin Harrison Jr. to build around for the long haul, adding Hill would give quarterback Kyler Murray the weapons he needs to contend in wide-open NFC West races this coming year and over the next few seasons,ā Kay wrote.

Hill lost some weight this offseason, making him even faster. Paired with Harrisonāwho is expected to have a breakout rookie yearāthe Cardinals could form one of the most dangerous receiving duos in the league and potentially power their way to an NFC West title.
