The Federal Reserve on Wednesday kept the central bank’s interest rates at current levels amid concerns about the direction of the U.S. economy and the  impact of President Trump’s tariffs on it.

The federal funds rate remains in the 4.25 to 4.5% range, according to NBC News.

The central bank’s latest economic outlook is increased inflation amid a lower overall growth trend, known as “stagflation.”
