If there’s one video that has gone viral around the world in recent days, it’s the kiss cam footage of Astronomer CEO Andy Byron getting cozy with the company’s head of human resources, Kristin Cabot, during a Coldplay concert in Massachusetts on July 16. The affectionate moment, caught live in the stadium, has exposed their affair – both were married to other people.

The consequences were swift. Byron resigned from his role as chief executive of the data software company, and Cabot is also no longer with the firm, which enforces strict policies around employee relationships – banning them outright unless they are made public. Byron’s wife, Megan Kerrigan, dropped her married name from social media before deleting her Facebook account entirely. She has since moved to the couple’s second home in an apparent attempt to avoid the media spotlight.

Things don’t seem to be going much better in Kristin Cabot’s marriage to Andrew Cabot, CEO of the rum brand Privateer Rum. Photos taken shortly after the scandal broke show the former HR executive no longer wearing her wedding ring.

Kristin Cabot tracked down

It was the Daily Mail that tracked down Kristin Cabot in the days following the kiss cam debacle. She was seen for the first time in the garden of her home after stepping down from her role at the tech company on Thursday. In a shrewd PR move, Astronomer has since appointed Gwyneth Paltrow – ex-wife of Coldplay frontman Chris Martin – as its new spokesperson.

In the pictures, Cabot appears alone, tending to her garden with a hose at her upscale home in Rye, New Hampshire. Her wedding ring is gone, and new “No trespassing” signs have been posted around the property. Her husband, age 60 and heir to a significant family fortune, was not present at the residence.
