Grand jury again declines to indict Letitia James

A federal grand jury on Thursday declined to indict New York Attorney General Letitia James, marking a third failure by the Department of Justice to advance against the Democrat.

The grand jury in Alexandria, Va., refused to recommend charges after a previously grand jury in Norfolk did the same, NBC News reported. A federal judge dismissed an earlier case against James.

James led a civil fraud case against President Donald Trump in 2024 over his real estate dealings.
