Hibernation started in the NBA world upon the conclusion of the NBA Finals, but have no fear — there are still plenty of spectacles to keep tabs on across the basketball world.
Chief among them is the 2025 NBA Draft, a production that promises to motivate some and break down others.
This year’s draft really begins with pick No. 3, after Cooper Flagg and Dylan Harper are expected to go Nos. 1 and 2 to the Mavericks and Spurs, respectively. Beyond that, it’s anyone’s guess what the order will be.
As the NBA Finals showed, a good draft can set you up for future spoils. Which team has the most of those selections in 2025? Here’s what you need to know.

Who has the most picks in the 2025 NBA Draft?
The Nets lead the way with six selections, five of which are first-rounders.
Brooklyn will pick at No. 8, No. 19, No. 22, No. 26, and No. 27. The Nets have authored up a host of trades to collect their treasure trove. They landed the Nos. 19 and 26 selections when they sent Mikal Bridges to the Knicks last fall. Brooklyn acquired the No. 27 pick via a pick swap with the Rockets, and the No. 22 pick from the Hawks in a three-team trade involving Kristaps Porzingis.
All told, there are nine teams with at least three selections in this year’s draft.

Phoenix Suns | 4 |
San Antonio Spurs | 3 |
Charlotte Hornets | 3 |

Who has the fewest picks in the 2025 NBA Draft?
Only one team will fail to make a selection in this year’s draft, the Nuggets. Denver sent its first-rounder to Orlando in exchange for Aaron Gordon. Its second was a part of the six-team deal that saw Klay Thompson land in Dallas. It ended up in the hands of the Suns after being used as a sweetener in a pair of additional moves.

The Lakers, Knicks, Warriors, Bucks, Kings, Heat, Pelicans, Trail Blazers, and Pistons will make eight selections between themselves. Just three — Miami, New Orleans, and Portland — will come in the first round. The Pacers, fresh off a Finals berth, will look to add another solid rotational piece to their lineup with the No. 54 pick. New York, meanwhile, saw one of its two second-round picks vanish after the league found the organization guilty of tampering. The Knicks will only make one selection in this year’s draft, now — courtesy of a 2024 trade with the Thunder.
Dallas will also only make one selection in this year’s draft. We doubt Mavericks fans will be complaining too much about that, though.
