Jenner’s friend and manager dies at 29 in Malibu, California: cause of death

Early on Friday, July 4, TMZ reported that Sophia Hutchins, a close friend and longtime manager of Caitlyn Jenner, had tragically died in an ATV accident. The news was later confirmed by PEOPLE. According to PEOPLE, the accident occurred on the morning of Wednesday, July 2, near Jenner’s home in Malibu, California. Hutchins was driving an ATV down a road when she collided with the bumper of a moving vehicle carrying two passengers. The impact caused the ATV to veer off the road and plunge approximately 350 feet into a ravine. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The passengers in the other vehicle were not injured.

Who was Sophia Hutchins?

Hutchins, 29, was well known for her professional relationship with Jenner and her appearances on the reality series I Am Cait. Caitlyn and Sophia met in 2015, and bonded over their shared experience as transgenger women.
