Justice Department fails once again to re-indict Letitia James

For the second time in two weeks, the Department of Justice failed in its effort to indict New York Attorney General Letitia James on charges of mortgage fraud.

This time it was a grand jury in Alexandria, Virginia, according to Politico. Last week it was a grand jury in Norfolk, Virginia.

James was indicted by an Alexandria-based grand jury in October, but that was later thrown out when a judge ruled that the lead prosecutor, Lindsey Halligan, had been illegally appointed.
