Hollywood is saying goodbye to one of its strongest couples: Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban. After 19 years of marriage – once which produced two daughters, the couple have decided to go their separate ways.

According to initial reports, Nicole and Keith split in June after the 57-year-old singer-songwriter decided to buy property in Nashville and move out of the family home. According to insiders, the iconic actress was still trying to save her marriage. However, just hours after the news broke, Kidman decided to file for divorce.

Kidman still in shock after spilt

Irreconcilable differences” was the only reason given for the split although according to reports, Keith has hooked up with a “younger woman in the industry”. Many allege that the mystery woman is Maggie Baugh, a musician who has been accompanying the singer on his High and Alive World Tour although others have speculated singer Kelsea Ballerini, 32 could be “the other woman”.

Any musicians will tell you, sometimes the temptations of touring are too great to resist. Multi-instrumentalist Baugh posted a video of herself and Urban performing on stage together at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas back in April. Fans noted Keith flirting with his bandmate, even changing the lyrics of a song he had written for his wife to sing Baugh’s name instead.

“Everything points to Keith being with another woman,” an insider told the Daily Mail. Let’s just say, Nicole doesn’t dispute that, but she’s still shocked over it. It’s all over Nashville”.

Cracks started appearing in the relationship a while back with Keith awkwardly telling one reporter, “We’re navigating through…” when asked about his family. In another more recent interview, he confessed that he has to give up a lot to further his career – among them, physical sacrifices, financial sacrifices and “relationship sacrifices”.

While promoting his new tour in an interview with Entertainment Tonight back in May, Urban told Cassie DiLaura how important his music career is to him – so important that it comes before everything else. “It’s not a job. It’s my life,” he said. “It’s just got to be your purpose.”
