In his third season with the New York Knicks, Jalen Brunson was able to lead the historic franchise to the conference finals for the first time in 25 years. After their postseason run came to an end, the star guard is now soaking in some much-needed downtime before ramping up his offseason training.Â
During the summer, NBA players do various activities when they aren’t working on improving their craft. In Brunson’s case, his offseason plans appear to be catching up on all the hit TV shows. On Tuesday night, the Knicks star made a cryptic post that had the basketball world buzzing. After seeing the massive reaction it got, Brunson made a follow-up post to clarify. He then went viral for letting the world know he was tuned in to the hit reality dating show “Love Island.”Â
Damn my bad yall, I was talking about love island https://t.co/F9bsIl4RDM

Love Island is a show where countless people are put together in hopes of finding a new partner. Contestants are voted off periodically over a six-week period until a couple is left standing to secure the $100,000 prize.Â
Brunson stunned many with his post about tuning in to the show. He, like many other people around the world, is caught up in the drama and suspension.Â
While Brunson recovers physically and mentally from a grueling season, the Knicks are still hard at work. The front office has its work cut out for them on various fronts. For starters, they have to find a replacement for head coach Tom Thibodeau. On top of that, they have to monitor the market in search of roster upgrades to help Brunson and company remain a contender in the Eastern Conference. Â
