Astronomer enforces a strict internal policy prohibiting employee relationships unless they’re made public to the company. With the now-public affair still making waves, a spokesperson confirmed to CNBC: “Kristin Cabot is no longer employed at Astronomer. She resigned.” Both her and Byron’s names have also been scrubbed from the company’s website.

Meanwhile, Byron’s wife Megan has taken quiet but decisive steps to distance herself from the scandal. According to the Daily Mail, she has removed “Byron” from her name on social media—now going by Megan Kerrigan—and has since deactivated her Facebook profile altogether. She has reportedly moved out of the couple’s home in Northborough, Massachusetts, relocating to a multimillion-dollar coastal estate in Kennebunk, Maine.
