Lady Gaga’s new single ‘The Dead Dance’ will be released next week to coincide with Part 2 of Tim Burton’s Netflix horror comedy series ‘Wednesday’.
Burton is rumored to have directed the video for ‘The Dead Dance’ – he and Gaga were spotted on the Island of the Dolls in Xochimilco, south of Mexico City in July. Neither the filmmaker, nor the singer have denied the rumors.
Lady Gaga will star in the second half of ‘Wednesday’, playing the part of Rosaline Rotwood, a teacher at Nevermore Academy.

She confirmed the release of her latest single at the show’s Graveyard Gala in New York City – both the next four episodes of of the series, and her new release will drop on September 3, which bizarrely enough falls on a Wednesday.
“I had a wonderful time working on ‘Wednesday’ season two, even just being a small part of the show. I loved working with Tim Burton and Jenna and everyone here, it’s so incredible. Thank you. I’m also here to confirm my song ‘The Dead Dance’ is coming,” Gaga told the crowd as she appeared in full Gothic regalia.
And in the meantime, the singer continues with her “Mayhem Ball” tour with three nights at Miami’s Kasayer Center before she takes her show back to her hometown, New York City, for extra dates at Madison Square Garden.
