He became the ‘voice’ of Love Island in the UK in 2015 and his role as the show’s narrator has made him a household name. He is known for his signature style, which includes deadpan and sarcastic humor as he provides a running commentary on the islanders’ antics, often making fun of their clichĂ©s, “muggy” behavior, and dramatic moments.

He made the move to Love Island USA in 2024 and joined new host Ariana Madix for Season 6, and he returned for Season 7 in 2025.

The Scotsman is married to Laura Whitmore, who was the former host of Love Island UK. They have one child together.
