Minneapolis Democratic Mayor Jacob Frey narrowly won reelection on Wednesday, beating out Omar Fateh, an openly socialist candidate who campaigned in Somalian.

The Associated Press called the race on Wednesday, with Frey taking 53.0% of the vote to Fateh’s 47.0%. More than 95% of precincts were reporting at the time of the call.

Fateh went viral due to his campaign focusing on the growing Somalian community in Minnesota.
