The death toll in Gaza has now crossed 66,000, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry, as the Israel–Hamas conflict deepens.

Ahead of his meeting with President Trump on Monday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Israel and the White House are jointly crafting a ceasefire plan but the details are still being negotiated.

“We’re working on it … it’s not been finalized yet,” noting ongoing consultations with the U.S. team, Netanyahu told Fox News Sunday.

Sources familiar with the forthcoming proposal revealed that it includes an immediate ceasefire, a 48-hour window for Hamas to release all hostages, and a phased withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza, according to a WRAL.com report.

Netanyahu repeated that Hamas operatives could leave Gaza under a potential deal.

“If they finish the war, release all the hostages, we let them out,” he said.
