Netanyahu suggests Qatar strike failed to kill Hamas leaders

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu hinted strongly Saturday that Israel’s strike on Hamas leaders in Qatar earlier this week failed.

“The Hamas terrorists cheifs [sic] living in Qatar don’t care about the people in Gaza,” Netanyahu wrote Saturday on X. “They blocked all ceasefire attempts in order to endlessly drag out the war.

He also wrote: “Getting rid of them would rid the main obstacle to releasing all our hostages and ending the war,” which appears to suggest they are still alive.

The strike occurred Tuesday.
