Oasis are back on the road with fans in Cardiff (Wales) being the first to enjoy the first shows earlier this month of the reunited Gallagher brothers back on stage after more than 16 years of acrimony.
The Manchester band defined âBritpopâ in the 90s and became an iconic fixture of the UK music scene with a slew of global hits such as âWonderwallâ, âLive Foreverâ, âSupersonicâ and âChampagne Supernovaâ. However, tensions between Noel Gallagher, the bandâs main songwriter, and his younger brother, lead singer Liam, led to its split.
Demand for the tickets has far outstripped supply with the band having to add a series of dates around the world to satisfy demand. Speculation suggests that each brother will make approximately 62 million dollars from the dates that also include shows in the US, Canada, Mexico and Japan.
Oasis merchandise overload
The band also stand to make a fortune from merchandise connected with the reunion. Apart from the sales of official tour merchandise, Oasis have teamed up with the likes of Adidas and Leviâs to capitalise on the surge of interest connected with the band.

The 90s-esque Adidas range includes tracksuits, football jerseys, t-shirts and bucket hats.
The Leviâs range features a series of jackets and t-shirts highlighting moments from the groupâs history, from the classic Decca Logo, to the football pitch from their 1996 concert at Maine Road Stadium, to the swirled Union Jack logo.
Soccer collabs
Manchester City and Oasis recently teamed up to create a limited edition capsule collection celebrating the anniversary of Definitely Maybe and the bandâs close connection to the Club.
The range features City and Oasis branded Hoodies, Bucket hats and t-shirts playing on iconic club moments and song titles from Oasisâs debut album Definitely Maybe.
Up in the Sky features an image of Erling Haalandâs incredible goal against Borussia Dortmund and Slide Away has the image of Rodriâs knee slide celebration from his UEFA Champions League final winner in 2023 which helped City complete a historic Treble.

Perhaps the most curious and interesting of all the initiatives is the bandâs venture with Irish soccer club Bohemians FC.
The north Dublin club in partnership with Oasis launched a sky blue 2025 FAI Cup jersey which features the iconic Oasis logo with all profits from the shirt will be split between Bohemian FC and two charities.
