Taylor Swift fans were treated to the news recently that the singer-songwriter is set to release her twelfth studio album next month with ‘The Life of a Showgirl’ set for worldwide release on October 3.
This was not the only major news that the 35-year-old had for her fans as she and NFL star Travis Kelce announced their engagement on August 26 with no date has been confirmed for when they’ll officially mark the occasion. For fans of both camps, the news has been a welcome surprise after years of speculation that the two were only in it for the publicity.
Perfect match
Most Swift fans are delighted with the news feeling that Kelce is the perfect partner and the duo make a great team. Some fans have even resurfaced an old Instagram clip and claim it was a sign that the couple were destined for each other.
In the promo video for his short-lived 2016 E! dating show “Catching Kelce,” the Chiefs player is seen messing around as he introduces himself as a “professional football player for the Kansas City Chiefs” before quipping, “It’s game day, baby!” He then adds with a faux-suave delivery that he’s “looking for love” before singing the Eddie Holman classic “Hey there, lonely girl” with an impressive pitch. The series lasted for eight episodes.
