Last week, Bon Jovi announced they will be hitting the road next year with their Forever Tour – a run of seven seven concerts which will see the group take to the stage in New York, Dublin, Edinburgh and London.

Bon Jovi’s first shows outside of the US in seven years

It will be the band’s first tour since 2022 when they headed out on a 15-date trek across North America. The Forever Tour will also be their first shows outside of the US since 2019 – the last time they performed in Europe.

The New Jersey rockers have lined up four nights at New York City’s legendary Madison Square Garden in Manhattan. Jon Bon Jovi and Co. will then jet out to the UK for a one-off show at Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium on August 28, then hop over to Dublin for their Croke Park show on August 30. The tour climaxes in London at Wembley Stadium on September 4.

However, it won’t be a full reunion. Just three members of the original line-up remain: lead singer Jon Bon Jovi, drummer Tico Torres and keyboard player David Bryan.

Bon Jovi’s original band members

Original bass player Alec John Such died in 2022, and lead guitarist Richie Sambora left the group in April 2013 to dedicate more time to his family.

Sambora has only been coaxed back once – hooking up with his old bandmates, including Alec John Such in Cleveland, Ohio when the band were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in April 2018. The group played four songs (You Give Love a Bad Name, It’s My Life, When We Were Us and Livin’ on a Prayer) – it would be their last live performance with their old band members.

Sambora still on good terms

In last year’s documentary, “Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story”, Sambora apologized to his fellow Bon Jovi bandmates for the way he left the group. He maintains a close relationship with Jon Bon Jovi but has no desire to return. That chapter in the group’s history is over for good.

Tickets for Bon Jovi’s Forever Tour will be available later this month. Fans can access pre-sale codes for the Madison Square Garden shows via the Ticketmaster app or through the band’s official website from 10 a.m. ET on Monday October 27. Tickets go on general sale from October 31.
