Ozzy Osbourne, the self-styled Prince of Darkness, didn’t just leave behind a legacy of thunderous riffs, bats (RIP), and a reality TV revolution. He also left $220 million and a clear plan for what should happen to it.

If you’d hoped to one day buy an Ozzy-branded air fryer at Target, bad news: it’s not happening. As Sharon Osbourne made clear in an interview a few years ago, “I don’t want someone that never met my husband owning his name and likeness… No, it stays in the Osbourne family.” And it seems she very much meant it.

So, what will the Osbourne clan actually do with all that money and the potent rights to his name?

Who gets Ozzy Osbourne’s inheritance?

Every single one of Ozzy’s six children gets a slice of the sizeable pie. No drama. No public feuds. Just six kids – Aimee, Kelly, Jack, Jessica, Louis, and Elliot – benefiting from what Ozzy built.

Kelly and Jack are executors, along with Sharon, who keeps a lifetime interest in the estate. Jack gets the family compound. Kelly gets a share and the Hancock Park house. Aimee – long the quiet Osbourne, often opting out of the fame – gets hers in a structured trust until she turns 50. Apparently, she’s planning to invest it into her music and acting career.

The will is said to reflect Ozzy’s clearest principle: “Fame or no fame didn’t matter.” Every child mattered.

Will the Osbourne brand continue?

As stated above, the other clarity we’ve been informed of is that the brand will not be in anyone else’s hands. Sharon, the kids, and no one else will manage Ozzy’s name, music, and legacy.

As someone who’s watched The Osbournes, listened to Paranoid too many times, and still laughs at the sweary “Bubbles?” clip on Twitter (see above), I get it. Ozzy was never a brand. He was a dad, a husband, and a metal legend. Now, his estate reflects that.
