Three people die in train crash in Germany: police

Three people have been killed after a passenger train derailed in southwestern Germany on Sunday, according to police.

About 100 passengers were on the train.

Two carriages went off the tracks between the towns of Riedlingen and Munderkingen, according to Reuters.

An unknown number of passengers were seriously injured.
