Tom Cruise and Ana de Armas have decided to go their separate ways after a brief but high-profile romance. According to The U.S. Sun, the pair called it quits after a little more than nine months together.
While the two actors largely kept their relationship out of the spotlight, paparazzi frequently captured them side by side during their time as a couple.
From on-screen chemistry to real-life romance
Cruise, 63, best known for the Mission: Impossible franchise, and de Armas, 37, the Cuban-born Spanish actress who starred in Knives Out and Blonde, reportedly began dating in early 2025. The couple was first seen together on Valentine’s Day in London.

Sources told The U.S. Sun that the pair mutually decided to end things after realizing that “the spark had gone.”
An amicable parting
“Tom and Ana had a good time together but their time as a couple has run its course,” a source close to the couple told the outlet. “They are going to remain good friends but they aren’t dating anymore..”
The breakup was described as amicable, with the pair described as being ”really adult about it.”
Ana de Armas spotted with Miles Teller
News of the split comes shortly after de Armas was seen working out at a Santa Monica gym with actor Miles Teller, Cruise’s co-star in Top Gun: Maverick. While Teller is married, the sighting sparked speculation in the entertainment press given the timing of her breakup.
How Cruise and de Armas got together
Cruise and de Armas first met in early 2025 during preliminary meetings for the upcoming thriller Deeper. Their professional collaboration quickly evolved into a romantic connection.
So far, neither Cruise nor de Armas has publicly commented on the split.
