Trump hosts freed Israeli-American hostage Edan Alexander at White House, marking Oct 7 anniversary

President Trump will on Tuesday, the second anniversary of the Hamas terror attack on Israel, host freed hostage Edan Alexander, an Israeli-American and Israeli soldier. 

Alexander, from New Jersey, was held hostage for 584 days before being released in May. 

The public event is scheduled for 3 p.m. in the White House Oval Office. 

Alexander was captured on the day of the Oct. 7, 2023, attack.
