President Donald Trump said on Sunday that the U.S. is not involved in Israel’s attacks on Iran but “it’s possible we could get involved” in the future.

“We’re not involved in it. It’s possible we could get involved. But we are not at this moment involved,” Trump said, according to ABC News.

Trump also said that “there’s no deadline” at this time for Iran to come to the table to negotiate a deal related to its nuclear program.

“But they are talking. They’d like to make a deal. They’re talking. They continue to talk,” he said. “Something like this had to happen because I think even from both sides, but something like this had to happen. They want to talk, and they will be talking.”

Negotiations scheduled for Sunday were called off after Israeli’s initial attack on Iran. Trump said the attack “may have forced a deal to go quicker, actually.”
