President Donald Trump is scheduled for a private meeting with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen on Sunday to discuss trade and other issues.

The deadline for new higher tariffs to be imposed on the European Union is fast approaching.

Trump was on his golf course in Turnberry on Saturday. He will be visiting the Trump Organization’s golf course in Aberdeen that is formally opening next month.

The Associated Press reported that Trump and his son Eric will participate in the ribbon-cutting for the new course.

The public tee times are set to start on Aug. 13.
