President Trump said Sunday evening that he will release his MRI results from October, but that he has “no idea” what part of his body was scanned.
âIf you want to have it released, Iâll release it,â he told reporters aboard Air Force One, according to the Associated Press. He also said the results of the magnetic resonance images were âperfect.â
Trump’s comments come amid Minnesota Democrat Gov. Tim Walz calling on him to release the results of the MRI, after the president criticized him and the state’s Somali population in connection with a $300 million scam on COVID-19 relief money from the state’s social service program.Â
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt has said that Trump received âadvanced imagingâ at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center âas part of his routine physical examination,â and that the results showed he remains in âexceptional physical health.â
Trump also said Sunday that he has âno ideaâ where on his body he got the MRI.
âIt was just an MRI,â he said. âWhat part of the body? It wasnât the brain because I took a cognitive test and I aced it.â
