Turning Point USA released more information about its founder and late conservative activist Charlie Kirk’s memorial service, which will feature remarks from his wife Erika Kirk, President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance.
Charlie Kirk was assassinated in Utah last week during an appearance at Utah Valley University. He is remembered as a staunch Christian conservative, who has been lauded as one of the most influential voices on the right in recent years.
Turning Point announced the memorial service will take place in Arizona on Sunday, Sept. 21, at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale. The service will begin at 11 a.m. local time with a dress code of “Sunday Best — Red, White or Blue.”Â
Multiple Trump administration officials will speak during the event, including Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., War Secretary Pete Hegseth and Director of National Security Tulsi Gabbard.Â
Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson, a known ally of Kirk’s, will also deliver remarks during the service.
“Charlie Kirk’s life was a testament to faith, courage, and conviction,” the organization wrote in a tribute. “From his earliest days, he believed America was worth fighting for, and he dedicated every moment of his 31 years to that cause. He lived with eyes fixed on eternity, grounded in the truth of God’s Word, and driven by a calling bigger than himself.”
Charlie Kirk is survived by Erika Kirk and their two children.
