The Golden State Warriors don’t have a lot of room to make moves. A lot of the Warriors’ free agency targets are already off the market. They now need to look at the best remaining free agents and decide where they can find some value. Most Warriors free agency rumors are linking the team to Al Horford, but this player could provide more value.

That player is none other than former Warrior Chris Boucher. Boucher is an unrestricted free agent and is signable, despite the Warriors’ salary restrictions.

Boucher is a stretch big who has strong rim-protecting skills and can knock down the three at a decent clip. Unlike Horford, he still has many years of solid play left in him.

Last season for the Toronto Raptors, he averaged double-digit points in just 17l.2 minutes per game. He also grabbed 4.5 rebounds per game and shot 36.3% from three.

Most importantly, however, is that Boucher can guard multiple positions. Having a skilled defender who can switch onto multiple different offensive threats is the perfect fit next to Draymond Green.

Boucher can stretch the floor and provide length and rim protection. These are all of the skills the Warriors need in their next frontcourt signing.

While Chris Boucher might not be the most exciting of the Warriors’ free agency targets, he is a realistic signing that could fill a lot of the current holes on the Warriors’ roster. If the Warriors can get Boucher on a multi-year, team-friendly deal, they need to pursue it.
