
The most important night on television is here. This Sunday, September 14, the 77th edition of the Emmy Awards – officially known as the Primetime Emmy Awards – will take place at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles, California, bringing together some of the biggest names in Hollywood.
This year’s ceremony will be hosted by comedian Nate Bargatze, with a star-studded lineup of presenters that includes Stephen Colbert, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Jenna Ortega, Mariska Hargitay, Christopher Meloni, Evan Peters, Sydney Sweeney, Colman Domingo and Eric Dane, among others.
When it comes to the nominees, Severance leads the way with 27 nominations, followed by The Penguin with 24, and both The Studio and The White Lotus with 23 each. The Last of Us and The Bear are also heavily represented across multiple categories, making them strong contenders.

The 77th Emmy Awards are scheduled for Sunday, September 14, beginning at 8:00 p.m. ET / 5:00 p.m. PT. The red carpet kicks off two hours earlier, at 6:00 p.m. ET / 3:00 p.m. PT.

The ceremony will be broadcast live on CBS, while streaming will be available on Paramount+. Once the show wraps, the full event will remain available on the platform for several days. The red carpet, meanwhile, can be followed online via E!’s social media channels.
