‘Worst of the worst’: ICE roundup nabs pedophiles, drug traffickers

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) this week unveiled its latest “worst of the worst” roundup of illegal aliens apprehended by the agency, which included pedophiles, drug traffickers, and violent offenders.

The arrests come as the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) works to enact President Donald Trump’s mass deportation agenda of removing as many as 21 million illegal aliens. The “worst of the worst” weekly roundups will now appear on the DHS website and document the most extreme offenders apprehended by ICE.

“This Christmas season, we are grateful for our law enforcement officers who put their lives on the line to make America safe again. Just yesterday, they arrested pedophiles, violent thugs, and drug traffickers,” said Assistant DHS Secretary Tricia McLaughlin. “DHS
launched wow.dhs.gov, a website providing detailed information about some of the criminal illegal aliens we are arresting, what crimes they committed, and what communities we removed them from. Americans can rejoice this Christmas that these criminals are out of their neighborhoods.”

Topping off this week’s arrests was Dagoberto Cortes-Mejia of Mexico, who was previously convicted of arranging to meet a minor.
