While the Baltimore Ravens were attempting to make a Super Bowl run last year, they were doing so without wide receiver Zay Flowers, who suffered a knee injury that kept him off the field for the team’s wild-card win over the Pittsburgh Steelers and divisional loss to the Buffalo Bills.

Flowers had an impressive 2024 campaign, catching 74 passes for 1,059 yards and four touchdowns, remarkably becoming the first Ravens wide receiver to earn Pro Bowl honors in franchise history.

With the injury ending the former first-round pick’s season, there were questions about his availability for the start of the 2025 season after opting not to have surgery in the offseason. However, Flowers shut that speculation down after a recent OTA session.

“My knee is great,” Flowers told reporters on Tuesday. “I’m 100 percent.”

Baltimore has made some big changes to their wide receiver room this offseason, replacing Diontae Johnson (signed with Cleveland), Qadir Ismail (signed with Las Vegas), Nelson Agholor (still a free agent) and Deonte Harty (still a free agent) with DeAndre Hopkins and Steven Sims.

Having Hopkins, even later in his career, could take some of the attention off Flowers and make his life a bit easier.

The Ravens will have the ability to line Flowers, Hopkins and Rashod Bateman up on the field with tight end Mark Andrews and running back Derrick Henry. That will be probably be the greatest group of weapons that two-time NFL MVP quarterback Lamar Jackson has ever had around him at the same time.

If they all stay healthy and perform to the level that they’re capable of, Baltimore should be the favorites to win the AFC North for the third year in a row, and they should be among the favorites to make it out of the conference in January.
